About this Event

The SLB-SportExcel International Junior Golf Championship 2026 is a prestigious 54-hole stroke play tournament held from October 6th to 8th, 2026, at the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam, Malaysia. This WAGR ranked event is open to junior golfers aged 11 to 18 and is designed to showcase and develop young talent.

The Overall Champion of Blue & White Tee will each receive an exemption spot to compete in the 2026 NextGen Amateur Tour World Final in Melbourne, Australia.

NextGen Amateur Tour World Final
Dates: 15–16 October 2026
Venue: Metropolitan Golf Club, Melbourne
Practice round: 14 October 2026
Competition: Three rounds over two days
Status: World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event

The Metropolitan Golf Club is one of Australia’s highly regarded golf courses and will provide our young champions with valuable exposure to international competition.

Additional Opportunity: Woodlands Open

The two winners will also be offered spots in the 2026 NextGen Amateur Tour Woodlands Open, which will take place immediately before the World Final:

Dates: 11–12 October 2026
Venue: Woodlands Golf Club, Melbourne
Practice round: 10 October 2026
Competition: Three rounds over two days
Status: World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event

Woodlands Golf Club and Metropolitan Golf Club are located approximately 15 minutes apart. Players participating in both tournaments may therefore remain in the same accommodation throughout their stay in Melbourne.

This special arrangement gives the two SportExcel champions the opportunity to compete in two international WAGR events during a single visit, gain valuable tournament experience and test their skills against talented junior and amateur golfers from other countries.

SportExcel sincerely thanks the NextGen Amateur Tour for extending these exemptions and for supporting the development of promising Malaysian golfers.

We wish all participants every success. Compete with determination, uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship—and earn your opportunity to represent SportExcel in Melbourne!
